This week on PlanetNotion, we’re offering a selection of the hottest new acts on the festival circuit this year the chance to shout about the things they love. From a playlist of Syron‘s festival bangers to a run-through of all the weird and wonderful things that make Mausi tick, all of these features were originally featured in the digital edition of our Summer Festival Guide, which you can download for free on iPad, here, and Windows 8, here. In the meantime, let’s get the ball rolling with Bondax‘s top 5 festival failsafe tunes.

With one of the most rammed touring schedules of any British act this Summer, Lancaster’s Bondax – comprised of George Townsend and Adam Kaye – are more than likely to be bringing a bevy of deep house, restless 2-step and spaced out vibes your way this summer. But, what tunes will they be spinning? Here are some stellar starting points, as described by the duo.

French Kiwi Juice – ‘Lying Together’

“French Kiwi Juice is someone who we’ve enjoyed for a while now. We’ve been fans of the French take on electronic music since we first came across some of the more popular electronic labels in our early teens. The Roche Musique man has really reignited that feeling of excitement you get when an artist creates exactly what you want to hear and yet he still manages to sound original in his productions! Watch out for him, this man is special.”

Karma Kid – ‘In My Arms’

“Karma Kid is a good friend of ours and we’re massive fans of his music. This is a feel good, energy-filled track which, like a lot of his production, is perfect for a summer night spent partying.”

Snakehips – ‘On & On’ (Snakehips Edit)

“These two guys are taking electronic music to a new place with their futuristic yet old-school productions. As well as making some sick tracks to compliment the relative heat wave of late, they have done an incredible edit of their own tune ‘On & On’ featuring George Maple on vocals (one of our Justus label team). Not to be missed.”

Moon Boots – ‘Love Strong’

“Moon Boots makes great-to-listen-to house music, whether you’re out in a sweaty room or at home slurping a cuppa. We’ve been lucky to meet him a few times and he did a perfect remix for our last single, ‘Gold‘. All of his French Express label contemporaries are also worth a listen if you’re looking for those sun-kissed vibes.”

George Maple – ‘Fixed’ (Maribou State Remix)

“George Maple is an amazing vocalist and good friend that we’ve been lucky enough to have released on our label recently. When we heard our other good friends Maribou State were to remix this track, we knew it was going to be something fresh and they didn’t let us down. This is a must-listen-to piece of stunning writing and production. Check it out above.”

Bondax’s latest single, ‘Giving it All’, is available from September 22 on Sony. You can pre-order it here.
